Timeless children’s stories come alive to inspire young imaginations when families step into Fairy Tale Village at Crown Center this summer. In this enchanted world, kids can interact with characters from their favorite fairy tales and play to their heart’s content.
Around every corner, children can discover and interact with classic characters such as:
- Cinderella
- Three Little Pigs
- Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent
- Little Red Riding Hood, Granny, and the Big Bad Wolf
- Rapunzel
- Jack and the Beanstalk, and the Giant
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the Wicked Queen
- Pinocchio
- The Snow Queen (a.k.a. Elsa)
- Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Fairy Tale Village provides a fun place to stay cool and play indoors during the summer months. Cameras are welcome since the fairy tale sets provide great photo opportunities.
To make the Fairy Tale Village experience even more interactive and provide new things to do on return visits, Crown Center is offering a variety of activities throughout the summer:
- Coloring pages will be available for children to take home to create their own fairy tale. Completed coloring pages can be brought back to Fairy Tale Village and displayed in the “Once Upon A Time Gallery.” A prize will be given to each child who returns with a completed coloring page.
- Visit the Fairy Tale Village photo station and use the props to create fun and memorable photos of your children this summer.
- Attend a Fairy Tale Village Dress Up Day on Sunday, June 11, July 9, or Aug. 13.
- Watch for details about the Fairy Quest scavenger hunt coming in August.
This exhibit will be most entertaining for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary school children. Most visitors spend 30 minutes to 1 hour in Fairy Tale Village, but visitors are welcome to stay as long as they’d like.
Experience the enchanted world of Fairy Tale Village starting Saturday, May 27, through Monday, Sept. 4, in the Crown Center Showplace on Level 1 of the Crown Center Shops. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. (Holiday hours for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Admission is FREE.
