Metro North will welcome Spring with a special Grand Opening celebration at its newest Andy’s Frozen Custard® store in Metro North, marking the 15th Andy’s in the Kansas City-area.
The award-winning frozen custard and treat shop known for its Made Fresh Hourly™ frozen custard and Baked Fresh Daily toppings will welcome the community on March 21, with $2 regular size one-topping sundaes, a Golden Scoop ceremony, an opportunity to take photos with the KC Royals’ Mascot, Sluggerrr and an opportunity to meet the founder and namesake himself, Andy Kuntz.
Treat lovers can enjoy performances by the Oak Park High School band and cheerleaders, play games and Spin-To-Win prizes, including the chance to win free frozen custard for a year.

A portion of the proceeds from each Forever Blue Concrete sold will support the Kansas City Royals Foundation.
In addition to a full menu of delectable frozen custard treats, the new Andy’s will offer a selection of NEW Gooey Butter Cake treats through April 15th. The treats feature creamy vanilla frozen custard blended with chunks of St. Louis-style gooey butter cake and finished with Andy’s NEW salted caramel topping. Available as a Concrete, Sundae or pint, this decadent dessert features a unique flavor that’s simply irresistible!
