POSTPONED TO 7/30: Due to conditions at Capitol Federal Sports Complex and the fireworks shoot site, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year's Liberty Fest to Friday, July 30.
Enjoy free family fun activities, a beer garden, food trucks, live music, and fireworks for Independence Day at Capitol Federal Sports Complex of Liberty. Schedule: From 6 - 9 p.m. FREE FAMILY FUN ACTIVITIES: DJ, Inflatables, Balloon Animals, Face Painting and Tattoo Artists, Fishing- bring your own fishing pole or use one provided by the Missouri Department of Conservation, and Free Play- Bring kites, bubbles, sports balls, etc. and take advantage of the open field space. From 6 - 10 p.m. FOOD TRUCKS & BEER GARDEN. From 8 - 10 p.m. LIVE MUSIC - LOST WAX. At 10 p.m. FIREWORKS BEGIN! Bring your chairs, yard games, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks (don't forget plenty of water!). Beer, water and glow items will be available for purchase at the Liberty Area Chamber of Commerce tent. Beer options: Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra - $5.00 each, Water - $1.00 each, Glow necklaces or light up rings - $1.00 each. PLEASE REMEMBER: NO OPEN FIRES OR GRILLS, NO PETS, NO PERSONAL FIREWORKS and NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED. More info: https://thelibertyfest.com/.
