Summer Outdoor Movies Across Kansas City

Amidst the hustle and bustle of parenting, Kansas City offers a ton of opportunities for moms and dads to hit pause, gather the family, and bask in the simple joys of outdoor movie nights across Kansas City. As the sun sets and the stars twinkle above, these venues offer a chance for families to unwind, bond, and create lasting memories under the Kansas City stars. Join us as we explore the top spots for outdoor family movie nights, where parents can kick back, relax, and delight alongside their little ones in the magic of cinema! Below you'll find each location, listed by area of the KC Metro.

Northland

Outdoor Movies in North Park at Zona Rosa

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot in North Park (green space South of Dillard’s)! They will be showing new movies and classic summer flicks. All movies are free and open to all ages.

Gladstone-Linden Square

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot in the square. We will be All movies are free and open to all ages. Movie will start when it gets dark (between 8:30 – 9pm)

Movies in the Park-NKC at Macken Park

 A fun time for the whole family! Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs and enjoy some fresh air with a movie in the park. Movie will start at dusk near the Festival Shelter in Macken Park. Free and open to the public.

Screenland Armour

Grab your own chairs and join them for movies in their back parking lot! No outside food or drinks allowed (water okay!). They have plenty of refreshments and snacks available with full options located inside available to go!

MOO-vie Night at the Farmstead – Deanna Rose

They're celebrating all things dairy at MOO-vie Night, with presenting sponsor Hiland Dairy. Bring your blanket and head to the lawn for a free outdoor screening. Dive into Farmstead fun before the MOO-vie starts at dusk, around 8 p.m. It's a dairy delight you won't want to miss

Pack your lawn chairs and blankets and bring your family to enjoy an evening under the stars at one of our Movie in the Park events. Dogs welcome.

Theater in the Park Movies in the Park

Movies are $1, paid at the Box Office on site. Movies start between 8:30-8:45 p.m. Concessions will be offered on each movie night along with beer and wine. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy the great outdoors at the beautiful TIP amphitheater!
