Here are various ways you can find your family fun this weekend and celebrate Independence Day:

Concert and Fireworks in Kearney

5:30pm-10pm, July 2nd

Details: Music with Noe Palma, free inflatable air toys for the children and Cotton Candy. Concert Begins at 7:30pm. Fireworks Begin at 9:30pm. Free Admission and Parking.

POSTPONED TO JULY 30TH: Liberty 4th Fest and Fireworks

6pm-10:15pm, July 3rd -- Now scheduled for July 30th

Capitol Federal Sports Complex of Liberty, 2200 E. Old 210 Highway, Liberty, MO 64068

Details: POSTPONED TO 7/30: Due to conditions at Capitol Federal Sports Complex and the fireworks shoot site, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year's Liberty Fest to Friday, July 30. Enjoy free family fun activities, a beer garden, food trucks, live music, and fireworks (10pm) for Independence Day at Capitol Federal Sports Complex of Liberty.

Details: American Legion Post 318 will be serving our delicious Pancakes in celebration of the Parkville 4th of July parade.

Parkville 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks

8am-10pm, July 4th

Downtown Parkville, 122 South Main Street, Parkville, MO 64152

Details: Parkville’s traditional salute to Independence Day includes a pancake breakfast, a community parade, food, fun, shopping, music by the Navy Band Great Lake Brass Quintet, a skydiving exhibition, and our fabulous Fireworks Finale at 9:30 p.m.

4th of July Community Celebration and Fireworks in Weston

Details: We're excited to announce that Weston will once again be hosting a parade, all-day fun activities, and a fireworks display (9:45pm) on the 4th of July!

Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks in Gladstone

7pm-10pm, July 4th

Oak Grove Park, 7600 N Troost, Gladstone, MO 64118

Details: City of Gladstone’s Annual Independence Day Celebration with live performances by Jillian Riscoe followed by the Suburban’s KC playing a variety of your favorite party tunes. Presentation of the Colors by Gladstone VFW Post 10906 followed by a magnificent fireworks display which will occur at 9:45pm.

4th of July Fireworks Display in Lathrop

Details: Fireworks display starts around dusk (roughly 9pm).

July 4th Fireworks in Smithville

8:30pm, July 4th

Smithville Lake Dam/Smith's Fork Park, 1601 DD Hwy or 1610 County Road DD, Smithville, MO 64089}

Details: The annual Smithville Fireworks show will be on July 4th at dusk (around 9pm) at Smith’s Fork Campground. There is parking available at Smith’s Fork Park by the soccer fields and the spillway.

Fireworks Display in Platte City

9:30pm, July 4th

Platte County RIII High School, 1501 Branch St, Platte City, MO 64079

Details: Fireworks scheduled for 10pm! Stadium seating will NOT be available due to construction at the high school. Optional viewing locations: Hillcrest Thrift Store, Platte Valley Bank, MCPL Library, YMCA, Price Chopper, Platte County High School and Middle School, Siegrist and Compass Elementary schools.
